Inverness lady praises Sight Action's 'extremely helpful' staff:

A few years ago one lady near Inverness was referred to the Highland and Islands Society for Blind People following a failed operation to restore her sight.

She said:

“My eyesight worsened very quickly. Fortunately, Sight Action has helped me enormously with all sorts of things. It has helped me with forms as I can’t read at all.”

She praised Sight Action’s ‘extremely helpful’ staff for their fantastic help including visiting her, helping her with the computer and showing her gadgets such as monoculars and document readers.

She said that using the computer keeps her brain working and talking books are ‘a lifeline’ for her.
