Retired Nairn man praises Sight Action's 'very helpful' staff:
A retired Nairn man is one of many people supported by Sight Action. He has had impaired sight for over 20 years.
Despite other severe health problems that leave him with little mobility, he still manages to occasionally visit Sight Action’s Resource Centre in Inverness for assistance.
He recently purchased a new magnifying glass and ordered new walking sticks at the centre. He said:
“They have very helpful staff there. I also go there to buy Christmas cards and furniture from Highland Blindcraft next door.”
The message from this man is clear. No matter how long (or how often) blind or partially sighted people need a product or assistance, Sight Action is around to help.
